Registration sign up will begin May 13th.  Summer reading program this year is camping with a Smokey the Bear theme.  Pick up the knapsacks full of prizes, activities and adventure scavenger hunts.  There are three scavenger hunts throughout the summer.  First one will have readers find the adventure silhouettes in the Library.  Second is a textured scavenger hunt with rubbings and imprints.  Both first two scavenger hunts completed with correct answers allows readers to pick a prize from the treasure chests.  The Summer Reading Challenge requires readers to read 5 books from May 13th to August 16th and the Summer Bingo Adventure requires readers to find things throughout the community and where they are located.  When both are completed, readers who bring in their sheets by August 16th will put their name in the drawing for one of the four grand prizes.

Join us on Wednesday, June 19th at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room with Joel Tacey as the presenter.  Indiana Joel will be the Park Ranger in his magic show with wacky stunts, upbeat music and lots of audience participation.   

Consumer Reports online allows patrons to find product reviews and ratings.  Available outside of Library with user name:  jordanvalley and pass: library23! Click HERE to access.  It is also available on the Library app under Research Databases.

 

Download the Library app at your app store under Jordan Valley District Library.  It will allow you to put items on hold, renew items, download digital books, audios, magazines & newspapers, database access, melcat ordering and more.  The app allows your digital Library barcode to be scanned when checking out at the Library.  Below are the directions on using the Library app.

The Library has outside lockers for patrons to pick up their holds 24/7!  You can put an item on hold through the website, through Jordan Valley District Library app, or by calling the Library.  Directions on how to put items on hold and how to use the lockers is in the following attachment.
