One Seed One State this year is giving out the DILL seed.  The Library has a limited supply of packets of seeds to hand out so first come first serve.  One packet per family.

 

Consumer Reports online allows patrons to find product reviews and ratings.  Available outside of Library with user name:  jordanvalley and pass: library23! Click HERE to access.  It is also available on the Library app under Research Databases.

 

Download the Library app at your app store under Jordan Valley District Library.  It will allow you to put items on hold, renew items, download digital books, audios, magazines & newspapers, database access, melcat ordering and more.  The app allows your digital Library barcode to be scanned when checking out at the Library.  Below are the directions on using the Library app.

The Library has outside lockers for patrons to pick up their holds 24/7!  You can put an item on hold through the website, through Jordan Valley District Library app, or by calling the Library.  Directions on how to put items on hold and how to use the lockers is in the following attachment.

 

GetSetUp is a partnership with MDHHS and Library of Michigan.  Older adults can access more than 150 free online group classes designed for and led by older adults.  Some include how to use a tablet, smartphone or doing video conferencing, gmail, YouTube, etc.   To learn more, visit HERE.  Fees are waived is use code:  MICHIGANHEALTH when booking a class.

 

Boundless (click HERE) is now available for patrons to check out ebooks and eaudios.  You will need your Library card number and your pin number which is the last four digits of your phone number.  Enjoy!
