Free Seeds

One Seed One State this year is giving out carrot seeds.  The Library has a limited supply of packets of seeds to hand out so first come first serve.  One packet per family.  There are dill, lettuce and flower seeds left over from previous years if interested.  

$mart Money MI Kids Read!

April is $mart Money MI Kids Read.  

Save It by Cinders McCleod is the children's book selected for this year's $mart Money MI Kids Read which is provided by the Michigan Credit Unions.  A grab and go bag including this book with bookmark, activity sheets, a packet of carrot seeds and a pencil will be available for children from ages 3 to 8 years old.  One bag per family .  This is part of the Michigan Financial Wellness Networks group.  

Consumer Reports Online

Consumer Reports online allows patrons to find product reviews and ratings.  Available outside of Library with user name:  jordanvalley and pass: library25! Click HERE to access.  It is also available on the Library app under Research Databases.

Library Book Sale Room

Library has a book sale room.  There are now games, etc. available to purchase.  There is a cart upstairs with many items available to purchase also.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Michigan eLibrary Catalog and Inter-library loan service.  The Library has been using this service for 19 years!  There are more than 435 Libraries included with over 34 million items to borrow.  Patrons can order items from MelCat HERE!
